Elizabeth Richards is an author, magazine editor and freelance writer from the Midwest. She has published almost 200 articles for Suite101 since 2007 where she has worked as both a Contributing and Feature Writer as well as a Topic Editor.

Richards enjoys writing about Health & Wellness, Travel, Cooking, Sports and just about everything and has been the recipient of two Editor's Choice Awards at Suite101. She has written a children's book, The Grumpy Old Dragon, and is currently working on two mystery novels.

Elizabeth is a member of Sisters in Crime, an international group of authors, readers and publishers, bound by affection of mystery genre. She is also a member of Humor Writers of America, an author's group based on making fun of stuff, especially themselves.
